General responsibilities will include instruction, scheduling, supervision of programs and employees, and marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities Actively recruit new players and teams Promotion of Ball Hockey and the rink Instruct Learn-to-Play programs/clinics or camps Schedule and supervise part-time employees Act as liaison between teams and management Oversee recruitment and training of coaches Responsible for supervision of programs Train Referees Establish and maintain effective relationships with guests Respond to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately Communicate all information to Executive Director verbally and in emails Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff Responsible for completing all tasks assigned on time Update player and game statistics Assume responsibility of taking disciplinary action as necessary Qualifications Hockey Background College Graduate Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills a must Must be a strong recruiter Must be proactive, self-motivated, and competitive Working Conditions Work responsibilities will be performed at an outdoor hockey rink with some office time.
Position will use standard office equipment that includes computers and software packages, fax and copy machines, and telephones.
Maintenance and cleaning of equipment includes:
nets, dasher doors, goalie equipment, and any other equipment associated with the facility.
Outside Weather Conditions.
Physical Requirements This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, demonstrating and playing ball/dek hockey.
