YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Our Production Associates are an essential part of the production team ensuring that production runs efficiently and meets our customer's quality standards.
This is an entry-level position that assists in plant wide general duties and various aspects of production as assigned.
This position provides the opportunity for progression to a greater level of responsibility within the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate processing and packaging equipment.
Monitor overall product quality and complete any paperwork for your assigned area.
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and production equipment in assigned area.
Have a working knowledge of the production schedule/timeline and related product specific instructions.
Have a working knowledge of all procedures necessary to safely perform the startup and shutdown of production equipment.
Responsible for timely notification of Production Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians and/or Quality Control Technicians when complications occur in your assigned area.
Follow the company's Good Manufacturing Practices, Safe Quality Food procedures and safety protocols.
Assist in other duties essential to operation of the plant as necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS GED/High School diploma Read and write the English language Mechanically inclined Ability to work in varied environmental conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
Ability to follow through on instructions and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
Self-motivated and ability to adapt to changing work assignments Optimistic with a teamwork mindset Good observation skills Physically able to bend, reach and climb stairs.
Ability to work any shift and daily/weekly overtime hours as needed Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds Previous manufacturing experience (preferred) Forklift Experience/Forklift Certification (preferred) Job Type:
