JOB SUMMARY The IT Business Partner (ITBP) has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface and business relationship link, between assigned business units or functional areas and with Global IT, for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The ITBP provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives. They communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. They proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. They partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. Business Impact, strategic alignment, compliance). The ITBP proactively serves as a "trusted advisor," and is the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers. They operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities. The ITBP provides support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business. The ITBP focuses on strategic initiatives and planning activities for their business area. They strive to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues. ITBPs are proactive and anticipatory in their thinking. They are, by nature, driven and provide significant value to business units. ITBP's facilitate the investment intake process and the high level planning and execution of business initiatives through the use of technology. They serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the respective Business stakeholders to understand strategies, initiatives and current priorities. Serve as strategic advisors to business units/regions by providing broad industry solution knowledge and proactively offering IT solutions Partner with the respective Business stakeholders in the development of IT Strategy & solution roadmap development, in alignment with business strategy Communicating effectively to both business and IT leadership, ensuring: IT leadership is clear on business strategy, initiatives and concerns from the business. Business Stakeholders are well supported and have a clear understanding of IT capabilities as required, and their expectations are managed around development and delivery of services. Communicate successes, failures, innovations, etc. to relevant Business stakeholders   Partner with the business across all regions, to maximize the value of technology investments Help to support the solutioning/project teams in the defining of scope and high level business requirements for new initiatives, using effective elicitation techniques. Champion IT operating metrics, especially with respect to assigned business units/regions Consult on the Business Unit/region IT Budget, especially with respect to project spend Support the business in establishing budgets that enable execution of strategy, run work, and project work        Manage personal program of self-development, to continuously learn and gain greater understanding of new and existing tools and capabilities, as well as industry and IT trends, through effective research, third parties, networking with peers, user groups, conferences and formal training.   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Business Management, or other related field or equivalent work experiences.   Master's Degree preferred 8+ years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a Manufacturing organization. Experience in Project Management and supported financials Experience in Business analysis Experience developing business cases, building ROI   Preferred: Previous knowledge/experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including OneNote, Teams, SharePoint would be advantageous Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement SAP ECC experience   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong knowledge of IT including varying systems, reports & capabilities and evolving best practices Awareness of new technologies across industries/functions Knowledge of software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery Effective written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including communicating across regions Strong at Networking with business partners and colleagues Strong organizational skills Strategic thinking and development Strong business acumen Highly analytical, proven ability to translate data into actionable insight and solve problems Highly Motivated & dedicated Results Driven Advocate/representative of IT     WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Some overtime or adjusted hours required Moderate travelrequired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
