The Analysis for Americas Shared Service is a key finance position for the manufacturing shared service function.
This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely transaction processing, compliance with appropriate accounting policies and supporting the shared service team with ad-hoc as needed projects.
This position will work directly with the Controller and Sr.
Analyst of shared service.
This position will be based at our Latrobe Corporate Offices in PA while working remotely in the interim.
Primary
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completion of the standard monthly journal entries for the Shared service and IT functions
- Provide professional level analytics to assess and report for assigned projects
- Prepares and consolidate selected global manufacturing results for Shared Service and Manufacturing leaders
- Completes all monthly close activities in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with our financial close process.
- Accountable for ensuring balance sheet integrity & compliance with accounting policies & procedures.
- Monthly review of manufacturing purchasing activity
- Complete various balance sheet account reconciliations via OneStream
- Identify processes in our manufacturing plants that could be effectively serviced from the shared service organization.
Experience, Education, Professional Knowledge:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 2 years of relevant financial experience preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Hyperion or OneStream Reporting Software experience preferred
