Vehicle Description 1955 Ford Thunderbird A really nice, higher-quality amateur restoration of a very solid car.
Finished in correct Code A Raven Black with a black and white interior.
292 V8 with the Ford-O-Matic transmission.
Very nice chrome and bright work.
Really it's a nice car that could use some minor tinkering to take it to the next level.
Single family ownership for the last 30
years.
We had the car serviced at a cost of over $1,500.
New belts, new battery, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt distributer, new intake manifold, new gaskets, new transmission pan gasket, and new fluids.
The brakes were serviced.
All of the lights and gauges work and the car runs and drives excellent.
Has power windows that work intermittently and power seats that do not work.
The wipers and horn work, but the radio does not.
Absolutely beautiful underneath.
There are some minor scratches and a dent on the driver's side rear fender.
No soft top.
Overall, a very nice car that can be used and enjoyed.
