Vehicle Description 1967 Buick GS 340 White with red stripes and wheels and a black interior.
I know there are nicer ones out there, but you'll be hard-pressed to find one with as good of history.
Just purchased from the original (and only) owner, still on the 1967 title.
This car was bought brand new by Mark Weatherhold from Thompson Buick in Cumberland, MD.
Mr.
Weatherhold never intended to keep this car for 54 years, but that's exactly the way it worked out.
This Buick was used as everyday transportation then out away in the 1990s.
It had a repaint of higher amateur quality in the 1980s, but the original stripes were left intact and painted around.
About 12 years ago Mr.
Weatherhold decided he wanted to get his car back on the road.
He had had the original engine rebuilt and the engine bay and undercarriage detailed and restored to a higher amateur quality.
He then ended the project and the car was out away in an old garage until we pulled it out.
We went all over the car.
We did a full tune-up, flushed the fuel system, went all over the brakes, and had some minor body work done.
From 10 feet away the car looks great.
As you get closer you can see blemishes in the paint, like chips and dings.
Some of the chrome has minor pitting and the car would really benefit from new front and rear bumpers.
The interior of the car is all original and in wonderful shape.
The car also runs and drives excellently.
All of the lights (original T-3 headlights) and gauges work.
The horn and the radio both work.
And even the light in the glovebox still works.
We have all of the original paperwork on the car, like the warranty book, finance paperwork, protect-o-plate, and almost every yearly registration.
This car is awesome! They didn't build many of these so you'll definitely have something unique.
As much as I like perfect cars, this one is just nice enough to show, but not too nice that you can't use and enjoy it.
Never before for sale to the public in its 54 years.
The Buick still has a sticker in the passenger window from the bank that financed it new! Super cool piece of history.
